Video Editor - AI Content Creation

About the Role

Join House of EdTech (Goenka Kachave LLP), a pioneering EdTech content studio behind educational material viewed by over 5 million learners worldwide, as a Video Editor specializing in AI-powered content. Based in Bengaluru, this full-time, on-site position requires 1–2 years of experience in video editing or content creation and involves blending traditional editing skills with artificial intelligence techniques to produce engaging educational videos.

Primary Responsibilities

• Edit both long and short educational video content such as tutorials, explainers, and case studies, performing color grading, quality checks, and optimization tailored for platforms like YouTube and social media.
• Leverage AI tools including Sora, Veo3, Runway, Midjourney, HeyGen, and ElevenLabs to generate visuals, B-rolls, avatars, and smooth transitions.
• Develop creative storytelling assets encompassing scripts, storyboards, and visual concepts grounded in understanding learner psychology and educational narratives.
• Create and animate motion graphics such as infographics, title sequences, lower thirds, and brand templates using After Effects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Basic abilities in motion graphics design and animation.
• Skills in captioning and video pacing adapted to audience needs.
• Understanding of the YouTube video editing style and trends.
• Graduate degree in any discipline (preferably Design, Film, or Media).
• Ownership of a personal laptop with an active internet connection is mandatory.

Preferred but Not Mandatory

• Experience creating educational or EdTech video content.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted scriptwriting tools.
• Knowledge of cinematography fundamentals.

Candidate Profile

This role best suits candidates comfortable integrating AI tools as essential components of their editing workflow rather than optional extras. Candidates should be agile in managing quick project turnarounds and adaptable to shifting creative briefs. Those unfamiliar with fast-paced environments or reluctant to employ AI in video production are unlikely to thrive in this position.

Working Conditions

• Location: Bengaluru office, requiring in-person attendance.
• Work Schedule: Six days per week, from 11 AM to 8 PM.

Compensation and Benefits
