Overview
Join the Australian Sustainable Dairies team as a Warehouse and Logistics Manager based in Carrum Downs, VIC. This hands-on leadership role operates within a dynamic fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment focusing on premium, fresh organic dairy items with short shelf lives. You will be responsible for driving accuracy in inventory and logistics processes to ensure rapid product flow and minimal delays, supporting award-winning organic brands.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversight of all warehouse transactions including order closure, inventory adjustments, write-offs, and reconciliations.
- Foster a culture prioritizing speed, precision, customer service, safety, and quality in warehouse tasks.
- Ensure efficient processing from inbound receipt to outbound dispatch to optimize product freshness and reduce dwell time.
- Maintain accurate reflection of stock movements in ERP systems.
- Lead daily warehouse activities, combining system management with hands-on involvement when necessary.
- Manage cycle counts, stocktakes, variance investigations, and root-cause analyses.
- Supervise inbound/outbound logistics complying with ASN standards, pallet transfers, and related documentation.
- Monitor and enhance KPIs such as Delivery in Full (DIF) and inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate inventory performance and issue resolution with multiple 3PL partners.
- Bridge warehouse, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless data flow and operational alignment.
- Lead, mentor and develop warehouse personnel to uphold clear operational standards.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing warehouse and logistics in high-volume, fast-paced FMCG sectors, especially with chilled and short-lived products. The role demands decisiveness, leadership under pressure, process discipline, and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Experience handling warehouse operations integrated with ERP systems, emphasizing transaction accuracy.
- Capacity to lead with a sense of urgency in a dynamic environment requiring rapid product turnaround.
- Proven management of order closure and reconciliation processes.
- Understanding of how warehouse data integrity affects the wider supply chain and financial reporting.
- Ability to balance direct operational involvement with system oversight.
- Experience working with refrigerated or short shelf-life FMCG products.
- Composed leadership focused on consistency and results.
Required Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale, fast-moving FMCG warehouse and logistics operations, including coordination with multiple 3PL providers.
- Expertise in ERP systems, notably Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Experience managing inventory corrections and system reconciliations.
- Knowledge of inbound/outbound logistics.
- Current forklift licence.
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
Working Hours and Location
Work is primarily onsite at Carrum Downs, Victoria, operating from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with some flexibility required during peak periods. A forklift licence is mandatory as operational support may be required.
