About the internship
This work-from-home internship is focused on outbound sales and field-style customer development for a startup advisory business. The selected intern will help find prospects, build customer relationships, promote products, and support the sales cycle from first contact through payment follow-up.

Mind Matters Business Advisors works with startups on financial models, pitch decks, funding preparation, recognition under the Start-Up India initiative, and access to seed funding from the Government of India. The team positions itself as a hands-on partner that supports execution as well as strategy.
What you'll do
- Reach out to potential buyers through cold calls, lead generation, and local market outreach.
- Develop and maintain relationships with wholesalers, retailers, institutional buyers, restaurants, food businesses, and similar prospects.
- Explain the product offering clearly and communicate its value to prospective customers.
- Arrange product sampling and collect customer feedback to support business growth.
- Follow up with interested leads and convert qualified prospects into active customers.
- Help onboard new customers and make sure the buying process runs smoothly.
- Stay in touch with customers to understand their ongoing needs and provide prompt support.
- Record and monitor leads, customer conversations, sample approvals, and sales activity in the assigned tools or logs.
- Work toward getting at least 2–3 product sample approvals each month through regular follow-ups and sales effort.
- Track customer orders, payment status, and related business tasks to ensure timely closure.
- Partner with the management team to support monthly sales goals and business expansion.
- When needed, visit customer locations within Bangalore to collect pending payments and strengthen relationships.
Eligibility

Requirements
- Must currently live in Bangalore.
- Should be fluent in Hindi, English, and Kannada.
- Needs strong communication, negotiation, and people skills.
- Must be comfortable with cold calling, lead generation, and client-facing interactions.
- Should be willing to travel within Bangalore whenever meetings or payment follow-ups are needed.
- Prior exposure to sales, telesales, field sales, business development, or customer relationship management is preferred.
- Should be self-driven, goal-focused, and eager to learn.
Stipend and incentives
The internship offers a fixed stipend of ₹1,500 per month plus incentives of ₹10,000 per month. In addition, you will earn ₹1,000 for every successful conversion or sale.

Additional information
