The role also involves managing LPARs and DLPARs, administering HMC, NIM servers, VIO servers, and PowerVC environments, and troubleshooting IBM HACMP clusters. In addition, the person should be able to identify operational and functional issues, coordinate installation and testing of system software and related hardware, and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.

Another important part of the job is leading the AIX operations team, ensuring SLA and OLA commitments are met, escalating issues within the agreed escalation matrix, and communicating technical details clearly while coordinating with vendors.
