Architect (CAD & Construction Documentation) - Remote Contract

About the Role

We are looking for skilled Architects specialized in CAD and construction documentation for a contract position with a client focused on advancing AI technologies. In this role, your in-depth knowledge of architectural detailing and construction documents will directly contribute to the enhancement of AI systems by providing accurate and high-quality architectural and engineering outputs. No prior AI experience is required; your expertise in architectural drafting and documentation is paramount.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive architectural floor plans, elevations, and construction drawings tailored to project needs.
• Produce precise 2D and 3D CAD drawings for architectural and engineering uses.
• Annotate technical and manufacturing documents with accurate Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) details.
• Create, review, and annotate multi-page electrical schematic diagrams following industry standards.
• Design and assess PCB layouts to ensure accuracy and manufacturability when relevant.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address technical queries and documentation clarifications.
• Deliver organized and complete documentation packages aligned with project timelines and quality standards.
• Provide subject matter expertise to enhance AI training datasets through precise technical documentation and structured input.

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of recent hands-on experience in architectural CAD drafting and construction documentation.
• Proficient in standard 2D/3D CAD software and architectural drawing tools.
• Experience interpreting and creating GD&T annotations and technical engineering documents.
• Practical knowledge in preparing multi-sheet electrical schematics and PCB layout documentation is highly advantageous.
• Strong grasp of construction documentation practices and accepted architectural drawing conventions.
• Keen attention to detail with the capability to handle complex documentation across diverse deliverables.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote, team-oriented environment while adhering to deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in multidisciplinary architectural and engineering projects.
• Experience using remote collaboration tools and managing distributed team workflows.
• Possession of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field.
• Experience conducting quality assurance and compliance reviews of technical documents.

Additional Information

This role is remote and on a contract basis, offering an hourly pay range of $40 to $50. Candidates do not need previous artificial intelligence experience but should bring expertise relevant to architectural and construction documentation.
