Role overview

P+A Projects Pte Ltd is looking for an Architect to contribute across the full lifecycle of building projects in Singapore. The role involves shaping early-stage briefs, developing design concepts, coordinating with consultants and authorities, and supporting the delivery of detailed design, tender, and construction documentation.

What you will do

• Meet clients and other project stakeholders at the outset to clarify the brief and project direction.
• Refine project requirements as work advances and ensure the brief remains aligned with project needs.
• Prepare design concepts and proposals using CAD tools as well as hand drawing methods.
• Support planning submissions and other required regulatory applications.
• Assess how design choices affect functional and performance outcomes so practical concerns are addressed early.
• Carry the design process through to detailed coordination and documentation.
• Communicate with planning and technical authorities to secure statutory approvals.
• Coordinate with consultants involved in the project team and keep design information aligned.
• Advise clients on selecting suitable procurement and contract approaches for the work.
• Lead the preparation of tender packages and construction drawings.
• Assist with contract administration and project certification tasks.
• Gather client feedback on work in progress and completed outcomes.
• Visit sites to monitor progress and help ensure timelines are met.
• Resolve issues that arise during the construction stage.
• Carry out defect inspections when required.
• Oversee junior team members and support their work.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of architectural experience in Singapore or Malaysia.
• Working knowledge of building regulations in Singapore or Malaysia.
• Proven portfolio of relevant work.
• Comfortable working in a team and able to perform in a fast-moving environment.
• Positive attitude, initiative, and a conscientious approach to work.
