Business Analyst

Role overview

Ariston Services is hiring a Business Analyst for an on-site contract position in Singapore. The role is centered on gathering business needs, translating them into clear documentation, and helping drive delivery across business and technology teams in a banking or financial services setting.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, examine, and record business requirements in a structured way.
• Run workshops and coordinate discussions with stakeholders from both business and IT functions.
• Assist with solution design, testing activities, and validation of requirements in Agile delivery setups.
• Identify process gaps in implementations that span regions or multiple locations.

Experience and domain background

• Applicants should bring 5 to 8 years of Business Analyst experience within banking or financial services.
• Deep knowledge in one or more of these areas is preferred: Wealth Management / Private Banking, Credit & Lending, Investments / Capital Markets, or Digital Banking.

Technical expertise

• Practical exposure to banking and investment systems such as Avaloq, Aladdin, Salesforce, MarginMan, and FinIQ.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or other iterative delivery environments.

Core soft skills

• Strong capability in stakeholder coordination and relationship handling.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Comfort leading workshops and influencing teams across functions.
• Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving delivery environment.

Mandatory requirement

Every candidate must meet at least one of the following conditions: prior business experience in banking or wealth management, or functional and/or technical experience with Avaloq.
