About the Role

Heritage Lifecare's Broadview Lifecare in Whanganui is looking for a passionate Caregiver to join their dedicated team. This permanent part-time role involves working 20-26 hours per week, primarily on PM shifts, delivering compassionate and high-quality care to residents in an 85-bed care home and hospital setting along with a 27-unit village. You'll be instrumental in creating a warm and supportive environment for residents, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional day-to-day care for residents with kindness and patience.
• Support residents across four levels of care including psychogeriatric services.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in caregiving, preferably in aged care settings.
• Hold a minimum NZQA Level Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent qualification such as Bachelor or Diploma in Nursing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
• Genuine passion for assisting others and customer service orientation with a positive demeanor.
• Commitment to continuous learning and adherence to health and safety protocols.
