Civil Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a committed and diligent Diploma Civil Engineer to provide essential support in executing, overseeing, and maintaining civil construction projects. This individual will assist project engineers and site teams by ensuring all construction activities comply with approved plans, technical requirements, and quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction and maintenance operations at various project locations.
• Track the quality of workmanship, utilization of materials, and site advancement.
• Take accurate site measurements, recording data diligently.
• Support preparation of estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and project documentation.
• Ensure all activities align with authorized drawings and technical standards.
• Collaborate effectively with contractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Perform site assessments and escalate construction challenges to senior engineers.
• Maintain thorough records including daily progress reports and other vital documentation.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and uphold quality assurance.
• Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and implementation efforts.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of five years of practical experience in civil construction or maintenance projects.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office suite, and elementary surveying methods.
• Understanding of construction materials, building techniques, and quality management practices.
• Strong communication abilities and aptitude for teamwork.
• Capability to operate effectively at construction sites and manage field responsibilities.
