Role Summary
The Cost Controller Supervisor position involves managing and monitoring inventory and cost control activities within food, beverage, and retail areas. This role supports the operational team by analyzing product mix, margins, and customer preferences to assess merchandising effectiveness and impact on revenue.
Key Duties
- Conduct physical inventories in food, beverage, and retail sectors as necessary.
- Analyze product mix, margins, and guest preferences to aid operational decision-making.
- Support point of sale (POS) updates including pricing, menu adjustments, and user changes.
- Record receipts for all food, beverage, and non-food items into inventory and purchasing systems.
- Investigate measurement discrepancies and price fluctuations.
- Update inventory requisitions through relevant systems.
- Assist in calculating potential cost of sales ratios.
- Maintain accurate master cost files and receipts.
- Perform random checks to ensure proper storage and security of products.
- Adhere to company policies, including professional appearance and confidentiality standards.
- Engage professionally with colleagues and guests, maintaining clear communication and appropriate etiquette.
- Physically handle objects up to 10 pounds as per role requirements.
- Cultivate positive working relationships and support team objectives.
- Perform any additional reasonable tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required.
- At least one year of relevant work experience.
- No prior supervisory experience required.
- No specific licenses or certifications mandated.
