Overview
We are recruiting for a partner company through Haystack for a full-time Data Analyst position based in Kassel, Hesse, Germany. The role focuses on improving purchasing analysis and reporting, building interactive BI solutions, and supporting process digitalization in close cooperation with IT and purchasing stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI and Tableau.
- Build data models that help optimize and evaluate purchasing activities.
- Contribute to the rollout of a BI server solution for the purchasing team.
- Work with IT to create and implement digital process improvement concepts and solutions.
- Increase visibility by gathering data, consolidating information, and presenting it in a clear visual format for purchasing controlling.
- Collect relevant information independently from the ERP system and bring different data sources together.
- Create and adjust Jira workflows as needed.
Requirements
- A completed degree in Business Informatics, Economics, or an equivalent qualification.
- Prior exposure to purchasing or IT is beneficial.
- Hands-on experience creating data models in Power BI or Tableau.
- Solid ability to build and modify Jira workflows, along with a strong understanding of systems and process flows.
- Strong analytical approach, goal-oriented working style, teamwork, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP MM.
- Fluency in German and good command of English.
- Very strong MS Office skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
