About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Data Analyst to convert complex datasets into meaningful insights that drive informed business decisions and enhance operational efficiency. This fully remote, full-time position based in Germany welcomes entry-level and junior candidates eager to engage with data trends and effectively communicate findings to diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, cleanse, transform, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources
• Create reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support informed business and operational strategies
• Detect trends, patterns, and opportunities through comprehensive data analysis
• Track and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs), delivering actionable insights and recommendations
• Work collaboratively with business teams, project managers, and product units to understand data needs
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to address specific business queries with data-driven solutions
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness through validation processes
• Maintain documentation on data sources, analytic approaches, workflows, and reporting standards
• Contribute to initiatives focused on data quality enhancement and automation of reporting
• Communicate analytical outcomes clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Open to entry-level and junior applicants with 0 to 3+ years experience in data analysis, business analysis, reporting or related fields, including internships
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel is essential
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is advantageous
• Basic understanding of data analysis techniques, statistical concepts, and visualization principles
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with attention to detail working across extensive datasets
• Ability to distill complex data insights into clear, actionable advice
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within remote and distributed teams
• Knowledge of Python or other data analysis tools is a plus
• Fluent in English
• Must be based in Germany with full-time work authorization
• Capability to perform effectively in a fully remote working environment
