Role Summary

The Data Analytics Specialist will be based full-time on-site in Toronto, ON. This role entails gathering, cleansing, and arranging data from multiple internal and client-facing systems to enable informed business decisions. Responsibilities include analyzing performance trends, constructing dashboards and reports, and deriving actionable insights aimed at enhancing recruiting effectiveness, candidate quality, and client satisfaction. Daily activities involve collaborating closely with recruiting and sales teams to outline data requirements, verifying data accuracy, designing visualizations, and delivering succinct reports for leadership teams. Additionally, the role requires ongoing refinement of analytics processes, documenting procedures, and supporting data-driven strategies that improve the company's service delivery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated strong analytical capabilities for interpreting complex datasets, recognizing patterns, and formulating data-backed recommendations.
• Practical experience in data and business analytics, including working with operational, financial, and performance-related data.
• Expertise with analytical tools and platforms such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI software.
• Solid understanding of statistics, capable of designing analyses, conducting basic statistical testing, and validating results.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Effective communication skills to clearly present insights to audiences without technical backgrounds, both written and oral.
• Experience handling recruitment, HR, or staffing datasets is advantageous, along with familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or customer relationship management (CRM) platforms.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
