Data Engineer

About the Role

This position involves constructing data warehouses and pipelines for clients transitioning from spreadsheet and export-based reporting systems. The role utilizes technologies such as dbt, Snowflake, or BigQuery along with orchestrating their workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design dimensional data models and ELT pipelines supporting client analytics needs.
• Develop and maintain dbt projects incorporating tests, comprehensive documentation, and continuous integration processes.
• Optimize data warehouse performance and control costs as data volumes increase.
• Collaborate closely with client analysts to develop practical and effective data marts.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience building production-grade data pipelines.
• Proficient in SQL and Python, with a strong preference given to candidates experienced in dbt.
• Hands-on experience with at least one cloud-based data warehousing platform such as Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, or Databricks.
