Role Overview

The Data Entry Officer will be responsible for accurately entering and maintaining customer accounts, product catalogues, inventory details, and pricing information within the Moniebook platform. Collaborating with Onboarding Specialists and Account Managers, the role ensures data integrity from the start, supporting rapid onboarding, reliable reports, and a smooth user experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and update merchant data such as SKUs, pricing, inventory levels, product catalogues, and customer profiles.
  • Process large-scale data imports from spreadsheets and CSV files with thorough validation checks.

  • Prepare merchant accounts for onboarding by entering required product and configuration data within set deadlines.
  • Review merchant data submissions to identify and resolve inconsistencies or gaps prior to entry.
  • Assist in setting up catalogue frameworks, tax rules, and payment configurations as directed.
  • Perform data quality checks to detect errors, duplicates, and outdated entries, ensuring consistency across different platforms.
  • Record and report data anomalies to relevant teams for resolution.
  • Document data entry activities, including import logs and amendments, to build a knowledge base that reduces errors.

Candidate Profile

  • 1-3 years of experience in data entry or operational roles, ideally within SaaS, fintech, or retail technology sectors.
  • Excellent attention to detail with proven ability to handle high volumes of data accurately.
  • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets features including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and formulas.
  • Experience working with CRM systems or POS/back-office SaaS applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with multitasking capabilities.
  • Preferred experience with bulk CSV data imports, SaaS catalogue management, retail inventory, or point-of-sale systems.
  • Familiarity with onboarding, implementation, or customer success support is advantageous.
  • Must be based in Edo State (Oredo or Ikpoba Okha).
  • Highly detail-oriented, process-driven, proactive in identifying issues, team-oriented, calm under pressure, and tech-savvy.
