Data Scientist

Position Overview

We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our team on an hourly contract basis. This remote role offers a flexible commitment ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week with an hourly compensation between 60 and 130 USD.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, clean, and preprocess various datasets to maintain high data quality and readiness for analysis.
• Design, test, and deploy statistical and predictive models to derive actionable business insights.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and potential business opportunities.
• Develop data visualizations and reports tailored for both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to manage data science projects from start to finish.
• Enhance analytical methods and automate data processing workflows to boost operational efficiency.
• Effectively communicate analytical results and recommendations through clear written and oral presentations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Deep knowledge of statistics, mathematics, and analytical methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to handle, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets.
• Proficiency in programming and data manipulation using Python, R, SQL, or comparable tools.
• Experience in building and validating both predictive and statistical models.
• Skill in using data visualization software such as Power BI, Matplotlib, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud computing services including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong communication skills, with attention to detail in both verbal and written forms.
