Dermatologist

Overview

We are seeking a qualified Dermatologist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and managing a variety of skin, hair, and nail conditions, performing minor dermatological procedures, and providing expert patient care and counseling.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic disorders affecting the skin, hair, and nails.
• Conduct thorough consultations and dermatologic examinations to evaluate patients.
• Treat diverse conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, fungal infections, pigmentation issues, and skin allergies.
• Perform skin biopsies, cryotherapy, electrocautery, and other minor dermatology-related procedures with precision.
• Advise patients on skin care prevention, awareness around skin cancer, and available treatment options.
• Analyze lab and diagnostic reports pertinent to dermatological diseases.
• Maintain detailed patient records adhering to hospital protocols and clinical standards.
• Work collaboratively with other medical specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Keep abreast of the latest research and evidence-based advancements in dermatology practice.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Medical degree (MBBS) with MD, DNB, or DDVL specialization in Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy.
• At least three years of experience practicing as a Dermatologist after specialization.
• Successful completion of the Qatar Prometric Examination is mandatory.
• Eligibility for Qatar DataFlow verification and medical licensing is required.
• Strong expertise in medical dermatology and competence in minor dermatological procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with effective patient counseling abilities.
• Proficiency in English is necessary; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous but not required.
