Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate inventive design skills with a vivid imagination and strong creativity.
- Deliver top-quality work consistently while managing tight deadlines and targets.
- Propose innovative concepts to enhance and evolve best-selling brand products.
- Engage in thorough trend analysis including new materials, trims, and color palettes, applying insights to ongoing collections.
- Conduct research on competitor products to maintain market awareness.
- Work collaboratively with the Buying Team under your Designer’s guidance to ensure design elements and fit align with brand standards.
- Assist in developing collections centered on customer preferences and market trends.
- Create and finalize detailed technical sketches using software such as Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Prepare comprehensive specifications and implement design revisions as necessary.
- Maintain rigorous attention to detail across all tasks.
- Manage administrative duties and maintain an organized sample inventory.
- Display samples effectively during meetings and maintain a sample tracker through the development cycle.
- Coordinate with suppliers to adhere to the design project timeline.
- Build strong relationships with relevant departments within Head Office.
- Undertake any additional reasonable duties as assigned by your Line Manager.
