About the Role
Join Foster + Partners as a Designer in our Architecture department based in Nashville. You will engage in a collaborative, multidisciplinary studio environment contributing to one of Nashville's most prominent projects. The role involves meaningful participation throughout all design stages on medium to large-scale architectural projects, fostering skill development within a globally connected, innovative, and mentorship-oriented team that values thoughtful design and inclusivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in every phase of architectural design on complex, sizable projects.
- Contribute original ideas and design strategies that influence project outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with both internal colleagues and external partners in a studio setting.
- Advance your professional skills through Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and ongoing learning opportunities.
- Support and embody the studio's dedication to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Candidate Profile
- Possess between 1 and 5 years of professional experience, preferably involving medium to large-scale architectural projects.
- Hold a recognized architecture qualification such as AIA, NCARB, ARB, RIBA, or equivalent credentials.
- Demonstrate strong design thinking capabilities with proficiency in developing, articulating, and presenting concepts clearly.
- Be proficient with Revit and experienced in additional software such as Rhino, Grasshopper, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exhibit excellent organizational abilities and capability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Maintain a proactive and collaborative approach paired with strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Have the legal eligibility to work in the United States where the role is located.
