Key Responsibilities

• Provide rewarding assistance that promotes personal growth and wellbeing of individuals served.
• Foster authentic relationships with participants to motivate and support them.
• Operate with autonomy and trust, making ethical decisions for the benefit of participants.
• Encourage participant involvement in community activities and favorite pastimes.
• Support developmental goals such as budgeting, physical activity, and nutrition education.
• Assist with personal care needs and support individuals facing behavioral and complex challenges.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent educational background required.
• Preferred: At least six months experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination roles.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multitasking ability, teamwork, and time management skills.
• Demonstrate compassion, patience, reliability, and responsibility in caregiving.
• Valid driver’s license, access to a registered vehicle, and proof of insurance required for travel.
