Job Summary

The Dispatcher - Driver Support Coordinator is responsible for managing and facilitating the logistics of patient deliveries. This role includes coordinating delivery routes and schedules, assembling orders, processing payments, and maintaining effective communication with drivers to ensure timely and safe completion of routes.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and schedule delivery routes, prepare orders, and handle payment processing.
• Generate transportation manifests and necessary documentation for patient deliveries.
• Respond to dispatch or driver-related inquiries over the phone with a positive and helpful demeanor.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products and relevant state laws concerning medical cannabis and delivery regulations.
• Monitor routing software and maintain constant communication with drivers, providing support during deliveries.
• Ensure all drivers are correctly assigned routes within the system and make route adjustments as needed, using provided routing software training.
• Engage in light scheduling duties as the company grows, managing driver availability and scheduling tool use.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Preferably over 1 year of experience in dispatch or logistics roles.
• Minimum of 2 years in customer service preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Strong proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and familiarity with new software and mobile applications.
• Experience in transportation or dispatch environments.
• Good teamwork skills to build supportive workplace relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
• Dependability and reliability at all times.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Physical ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods, bend, crouch, and lift up to 10 lbs.
• Possession of a working phone with internet connectivity.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and hear audio.
• Must pass a pre-employment and post-offer background check.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Work Schedule and Compensation

This full-time position is based in Bountiful, Utah, with work hours from Tuesday to Saturday, 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM. The compensation rate is $20 per hour.
