Estimator

Overview

The organization is looking for an Estimator who can shape bid approach and project pricing by reviewing proposals, studying historical cost information, and building accurate estimates that support future business growth.

Responsibilities

• Join bid discussions and help design, refine, and carry out bid strategies.
• Produce detailed cost analyses in a careful and timely manner.
• Review project proposals and turn them into practical budget and estimate figures.
• Collect, refresh, and assess historical cost data to improve pricing accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience, in Construction Management or a closely related area.
• Prior experience estimating projects or working in a relevant engineering role.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Minimum 5 years of estimating experience in the commercial general contracting sector.
• Experience bidding on projects in the $1 million to $30 million range.
