Executive Administration - Data Center Facility Management

Overview

Cyfuture India Pvt. Ltd. is recruiting an Administration Executive specializing in Data Center Facility Management. The role is located in Tambaram / MEPZ SEZ, Chennai, and requires candidates with 3 to 5 years of relevant expertise in managing Data Center operations, critical infrastructure, vendor coordination, and statutory adherence.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Between 3 and 5 years of relevant experience in Data Center or Facility Management.
• At least one year experience working in SEZ or MEPZ zones is compulsory.
• Practical knowledge of electrical systems and diesel generators (DG).
• Expertise with UPS and power backup systems.
• Familiarity with HVAC and chiller systems.
• Experience managing fire and safety mechanisms.
• Handling CCTV, access control, and building management systems (BMS).
• Vendor and AMC contract management plus facility upkeep experience.
• Skills in government liaison, complying with statutory regulations, audits, and inspections.
• Sound understanding of Data Center uptime, preventive maintenance procedures, and emergency management strategies.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations related to Data Center facility administration.
• Track and manage critical infrastructure, ensuring timely preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Manage relationships with various vendors, including security, housekeeping, and engineering service providers under AMC agreements.
• Liaise regularly with SEZ/MEPZ and other governmental bodies to ensure smooth facility operations.
• Ensure compliance with facility safety, statutory regulations, and relevant compliance frameworks.
• Assist in infrastructure projects, perform audits, lead emergency response and contribute to business continuity planning.
• Maintain documentation including facility reports, management information systems, and maintenance records.

Educational Requirements

Graduates or B.E./B.Tech holders, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering disciplines, are encouraged to apply.
