Role Overview

This role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ajman. The Facilities Technician is charged with routine and preventive upkeep of building systems and equipment such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and overall infrastructure. Daily duties include facility inspections, identifying malfunctions, troubleshooting equipment problems, and performing repairs to reduce downtime and maintain a safe environment. The position requires collaboration with supervisors and colleagues, maintenance of logs, assistance to contractors when necessary, and responsiveness to urgent service needs. Adherence to safety standards and company protocols is essential to the smooth operation of all managed properties.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting for building systems and associated machinery.
• Knowledgeable in facility management and building upkeep to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
• Competent in maintenance and repair of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical facility components.
• Preferably holds a technical diploma or certification relevant to facilities, mechanical, electrical, or a related discipline.
• Experience in property or facility maintenance, especially in residential or commercial settings, is advantageous.
• Able to comprehend technical manuals, safety protocols, and basic schematics or drawings.
• Detail-oriented with good time management skills; capable of working autonomously or collaboratively.
• Flexible to work outside regular hours when urgent maintenance is required.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
