Food Server

About the Role

Medieval Times is seeking lively, approachable, and eager Food Servers to join our team in Toronto. As a server, you will play a vital part in bringing Medieval Spain to life during our two-hour dinner and tournament event. Your role involves serving a four-course feast, interacting with guests in your section, and helping create memorable experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver an entertaining and exceptional guest experience
• Escort guests to their seats
• Welcome guests enthusiastically and maintain character during the show
• Promptly serve drinks and multi-course meals to your assigned section
• Engage with guests to address inquiries or assist as needed
• Prepare tables before service, clear used tableware, and maintain cleanliness throughout and post-show
• Carry out additional assigned tasks

Requirements and Abilities

• Possess positive attitude, enthusiasm, and cheerful demeanor
• Strong communication skills with management, teammates, and guests
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a lively, fast-paced setting
• Capability to lift and carry items up to 40 lbs
• Excellent customer service aptitude
• Physical endurance to stand, walk, and ascend/descend stairs for extended durations
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Education and Experience

• A high school diploma is required
• Previous experience in food service is preferred
• Exemplary customer service skills
