About the role

A.P. Moller - Maersk is hiring a support worker for housekeeping and maintenance tasks within the port area in Poti, Georgia. This position focuses on keeping the terminal clean, safe, and orderly while assisting with routine site upkeep.

What you will do

• Keep the port premises clear of production waste and other debris.
• Clean drainage and sewage channels as well as inspection pits/wells.
• Control weeds across the terminal area and maintain green spaces and plantings.
• Collect and remove sanitary and household waste from vessels.
• Move office equipment and other inventory around the port premises as needed.
• Clean checkpoint areas and the surrounding spaces within the terminal.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of how to use a grass cutter, spraying equipment, and similar tools.
• Understanding of sanitary and safety rules.
• Previous experience in a similar position.
