Position Overview

The role involves warmly welcoming guests, determining their group size, and guiding them to clean and available tables. Key duties include arranging seats, placing clean menus before guests, assisting guests around dining areas, and managing seating for groups with specific requirements. Ensuring that each table setting is complete with appropriate cutlery, napkins, and other standard items is essential. Maintaining clean, current, and plenty of menus and monitoring the dining areas for guest comfort, safety, seating availability, and service quality are daily expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests efficiently, ensuring comfort and assisting with navigation through dining areas.
• Organize tables, chairs, and settings, especially accommodating guests with special needs.
• Maintain clean and wrinkle-free menus and ensure adequate supply.
• Keep workspaces tidy throughout service hours by practicing clean-as-you-go.
• Observe all safety and security procedures, report incidents promptly, and complete required safety training.
• Present a neat and professional appearance, respect confidentiality, and protect company property.
• Use professional communication with guests and colleagues, including proper telephone etiquette.
• Support team efforts to meet shared goals and respond thoughtfully to coworkers' concerns.
• Meet quality standards and be physically capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and handling objects up to 10 pounds.
• Complete any additional tasks as directed by supervisors.

Education and Experience

Applicants should possess at least a high school diploma or GED equivalent. No prior work or supervisory experience is required, and no specific licenses or certifications are necessary.
