Role Summary and Responsibilities

As a Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor, you will ensure impeccable standards across guest rooms, public areas, and recreational spaces by inspecting work done by housekeeping teams. Your duties include managing room status reports, prioritizing cleaning tasks, coordinating efforts among housekeeping, engineering, front office, and laundry departments, and maintaining accurate records of room discrepancies and status updates. You will also communicate changes in room assignments and prepare shift reports for subsequent teams.

Supporting housekeeping management, you will assist in recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, and coaching of team members. Ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations is critical, including reporting hazards and completing all required safety certifications. The role requires maintaining professional appearance and confidentiality, delivering exceptional guest service, responding sensitively to guest needs and disabilities, and fostering positive coworker relationships.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

The role involves physically demanding tasks such as moving objects up to 55 pounds independently, manipulating housekeeping carts over varied surfaces, and requires dexterity for fine motor tasks. The position necessitates standing, walking, kneeling, bending, twisting, and operating computer and point of sale systems for extended periods during shifts.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum qualification: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• At least one year of relevant housekeeping experience.
• At least one year in a supervisory capacity.
• No mandatory certifications or licenses required.
