Role Summary
The HR & Admin Supervisor will manage comprehensive human resource functions for both local and expatriate employees based in the UAE, ensuring full compliance with local labor laws and regulations. This role also involves overseeing office administration tasks and supporting recruitment activities to meet organizational staffing needs, particularly in relation to international projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all core HR operations including visa processing, residence permit renewals, and medical insurance management for staff in Abu Dhabi.
- Handle daily office management such as inventory of office supplies, maintenance coordination, expense claims processing, and managing fixed assets.
- Support hiring processes by posting job vacancies, screening candidates, arranging interviews, and facilitating new employee onboarding procedures.
- Ensure adherence to UAE Federal Labor Law and local governance in HR and administrative activities.
- Foster positive employee relations by addressing inquiries, organizing small employee welfare events, and promoting a cooperative work atmosphere.
- Engage with local authorities and collaborate with headquarters HR to refine internal HR and administrative workflows for enhanced operational efficiency.
- Perform other HR or administrative duties as assigned by management.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of two years' experience in human resources, preferably within the Middle East region, with Abu Dhabi/UAE experience considered advantageous.
- Thorough knowledge of UAE labor laws, immigration formalities including visas, medical insurance schemes, and recruitment standards.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to distinguish and manage the differing needs of local versus expatriate personnel.
- Proficient in English with excellent interpersonal, coordination, and cross-cultural communication skills; Arabic language skills are an added advantage.
- Independent, analytical thinker with meticulous attention to detail, capable of effective performance in a diverse multicultural environment.
- Preference given to candidates holding a valid UAE work visa.
