Information Technology Project Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Information Technology Project Manager to coordinate and oversee a comprehensive banking technology transformation. This position requires aligning diverse IT teams including infrastructure, applications, and quality assurance into a unified delivery framework with clear governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate IT teams to ensure they follow a consolidated delivery roadmap and governance standards.
• Supervise vendor activities and enforce adherence to enterprise architecture and technical benchmarks.
• Monitor and manage IT environments, system access, middleware and API integrations, as well as dependencies among systems.
• Lead data migration projects involving extraction, transformation, loading, data cleansing, security measures, and validation procedures.
• Oversee testing phases such as defect resolution, performance evaluation, and the management of software releases.
• Direct cutover operations by preparing runbooks, establishing command centers, readiness planning, and developing rollback plans.

Experience Required

• Proven experience managing end-to-end core banking transformation initiatives, particularly with Temenos platforms.
• Expertise in integrating APIs and middleware between core banking systems and wider enterprise platforms.
• Track record in coordinating with vendors and system integrators to meet service level agreements and contractual obligations.
• Knowledge in setting up and managing infrastructure and software environments across development, testing, user acceptance testing, and production stages.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices ensuring stable code releases and environment reliability.
• Capability to drive non-functional testing, including performance, load, security, and failover testing to ensure banking system resilience.
