IT Support Engineer

Role Overview

As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining IT hardware and software for both client and internal teams. Your role involves troubleshooting issues related to laptops, networking, and other technology components, ensuring smooth operation and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up new hardware for clients and internal staff when required.
• Maintain and service IT hardware components for clients and in-house teams.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues with laptops, networks, internet services, and other computer technologies.
• Perform maintenance and repairs for Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) clients through scheduled visits.
• Implement and uphold backup systems for client and in-house desktops and file servers.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks and peripheral devices.
• Handle installation and troubleshooting of networking cabling and related equipment.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot various network and data communication software and hardware.
• Provide expert support and training to end-users about software, hardware, and network setups.
• Install and configure Windows and Macintosh operating systems on complex network architectures.
• Use Help Desk tools to log issues, track resolutions, and identify patterns for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve hardware and OS problems, testing and applying solutions accordingly.
• Optimize system performance through researched recommendations and enhancements.
• Manage service requests, including software installations, setups, and upgrades.
• Support technologies such as Microsoft Office 365 suite, Windows 10/11, network devices, printers, and Windows Server 2016/2019.

Candidate Profile

• Excellent proficiency in English communication is required.
• Must possess a personal two-wheeler vehicle for commuting.
• Willingness to work from 10 AM to 7 PM, six days a week, with Sundays off.
