As the exclusive national dealer for JCB Construction Equipment, the group is growing its JCB division and is looking for a skilled JCB Workshop Technician to enrich its team, particularly in Welshpool, Western Australia.

Role Overview

In response to its ongoing expansion, Adaptalift Group is recruiting a JCB Workshop Technician to work in their Welshpool workshop. The technician will be accountable for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a broad range of JCB construction machinery, ensuring machines are maintained to top quality standards before customer return.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair JCB construction equipment efficiently.
• Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot faults related to hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Prepare detailed inspections, fault reports, and service documentation.
• Conduct repairs adhering strictly to manufacturer standards.
• Collaborate with parts and service teams to facilitate swift repair turnaround.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop space.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship while complying with all safety protocols.

Working Conditions & Benefits

• Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:06 PM (38 hours weekly) with no weekend shifts.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a Mechanical Trade Certificate.
• Have prior experience working on construction equipment, earthmoving machinery, plant equipment, forklifts, or heavy vehicles.
• Demonstrate strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
• Be adept at interpreting technical manuals and service information.
• Hold a valid Australian Driver's Licence.
• Possession of Forklift, Elevated Work Platform (EWP), or High-Risk (HR) Licence is an advantage but not essential.
• Be physically fit for manual handling requirements.
• Commit to quality workmanship and uphold rigorous safety standards.
• Willingness to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.
• Have full legal working rights in Australia.
