Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Level 2 End User Computing (EUC) Support Engineer specializing in Mac systems to join our team on a contract basis in Central London. The role requires delivering exceptional operational and technical support within an enterprise endpoint environment, primarily focusing on Apple hardware, while also supporting Windows systems.
Key Duties
- Provide Level 2 EUC support in a multi-platform setting, mainly Apple devices.
- Manage endpoints with approximately 70% macOS and 30% Windows, including mobile devices.
- Execute patch management and update applications on managed devices using specific MDM tools.
- Handle application packaging and deploy requests for macOS and Windows platforms.
- Administer Microsoft 365 suite services such as Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Refer complex technical issues to Level 3 support as necessary.
- Maintain operational stability, ensure security compliance, and support ongoing process improvements.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Proven track record in Level 2 EUC support within enterprise settings, with a strong focus on macOS support.
- In-depth expertise with endpoint management tools, especially Jamf Pro for macOS and relevant Windows/mobile platforms.
- Experience in enterprise Mac deployments, Apple Business Manager, and lifecycle/patch management of macOS devices.
- Competence in application packaging and deployment across both Apple and Windows operating systems.
- Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft 365 administration and seamless integration of Mac clients in Microsoft cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of identity and access management utilizing Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve incidents on both macOS and Windows platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Jamf certifications such as Jamf Certified Technician or Administrator.
- Experience working in regulated or security-sensitive environments.
- Familiarity with automation or scripting languages including Bash/Zsh for Mac or PowerShell for Windows.
- Basic understanding of ITIL frameworks.
Additional Information
- Location: Central London, onsite, 5 days per week.
- Contract length: Initial 3 months.
- Start date: 27th July.
- Work schedule: UK/European business hours.
- Rate: £300 per day, inside IR35.
