Role Overview

Join the Project Execution team in Dubai, UAE, as a Logistics Expediter. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and timely flow of materials supporting project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Planning team to keep track of project timelines and ensure materials are available per site delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with Procurement to confirm purchase order details, supplier commitments, and delivery timelines.
• Monitor and expedite supplier shipments to meet project milestones and deadlines.
• Engage with suppliers regarding production status, material readiness, documentation accuracy, and shipment planning.
• Detect potential risks, delays, or constraints in the supply chain and promptly inform the Project Manager, Commercial Project Manager, and Planning team.
• Work with Logistics to manage the collection, transportation, customs clearance, and delivery of materials to project sites.
• Maintain precise tracking of materials, delivery statuses, and supplier performance records.
• Ensure all shipping documentation, certifications, and compliance measures are aligned with project requirements and contracts.
• Support the site teams by coordinating on-time material availability aligned with project milestones.
• Build strong collaboration with Engineering and Procurement teams to ensure material specifications, availability, and project needs are consistently met.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, procurement expediting, supply chain coordination, or project logistics.
• Solid understanding of supply chain procedures, international shipping protocols, and supplier relationship management.
• Experience in project-driven or EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) environments.
• Familiarity with technical documentation and engineering-related requirements.
• Strong skills in coordination, communication, and managing stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and perform efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
• Effective problem-solving abilities, including risk detection and escalation.
• Excellent negotiation and follow-up capabilities.
• Good knowledge of shipping paperwork, customs processes, and logistics operations.
• Competent in reporting, organization, and planning functions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and various reporting applications.
