Role Overview

The Manager or Director of Business Development will focus on generating sales and improving revenue and profit margins. This role involves establishing and nurturing client relationships, working closely with recruiters to fulfill job orders, and collaborating with various business leaders and subject matter experts to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a strategic target list to develop client partnerships.
• Engage in prospecting through calls, advertisements, email campaigns, social media, face-to-face meetings, and other channels.
• Consistently produce new job orders weekly in alignment with goals.
• Manage all new and ongoing job orders from initial intake through completion.
• Use Bullhorn software to document all interactions, notes, and pertinent information crucial for managing and growing the business pipeline and organizing daily tasks.
• Collaborate with colleagues to cross-sell services and fulfill open positions across other business lines or national practices, where applicable.

Education and Experience

A Bachelor's degree is required along with a minimum of two years' experience in the IT staffing sector.

Work Location and Travel

This role is based in Toronto, Ontario with a hybrid schedule requiring attendance at the downtown Toronto office twice weekly. Travel requirements are minimal, less than 5%.

Physical Demands

• Frequent activities: Sitting, walking, coordination of eyes/hands/feet, repetitive motions.
• Occasional activities: Standing and bending.
• Infrequent activities: Lifting items up to 10 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $100,000 CAD annually, influenced by factors such as experience, skills, certification, and location. Eligible employees may participate in incentive programs, discretionary bonuses, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
