Role Overview

This is a broad marketing and proposal coordination opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving, collaborative setting. The position may be based in any of several H&H office locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of proposal production and coordination as assigned.
• Build and track proposal timelines, along with compliance checklists.
• Run local meetings for proposal development, internal review, and debriefs.
• Support major pursuits, including top national opportunities.
• Help craft tailored messaging, win themes, and competitive differentiators.
• Gather information on staff qualifications, company experience, and prior proposals.
• Create and keep up a repository of content needed for proposal submissions.
• Develop and maintain regional proposal resources such as resumes and project write-ups.
• Organize and standardize presentation materials.
• Regularly check websites for newly posted solicitations.
• Manage prequalification package preparation and submission.
• Assist with client management initiatives, industry participation, and other business development efforts as needed.
• Stay informed about current and upcoming client solicitations within the assigned region.
• Update the company opportunity, client, and contact database (Vision).

Requirements

• Completion of an associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least 3 years of proposal development experience in the A/E/C industry is strongly preferred.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to work independently and deliver assignments on your own.
• Interest in learning the engineering field and taking part in ongoing training and professional development.
• Comfort working collaboratively with a diverse marketing team.
• Familiarity with SF330, SF255, and similar state or federal form requirements is preferred.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and InDesign; knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay will be based on experience. For applicants in NY, NJ, and CO, the annual salary range is $70,000 to $90,000. The company also offers a professional workplace, a competitive compensation package, benefits, and a 401(k) plan.
