About the Role
Cornerstone Caregiving, the largest privately owned company specializing in in-home care, is looking to expand its national presence by hiring an Operating Director for its Torrance, CA branch. This leadership position involves independently managing and developing the branch, supported by comprehensive corporate training and ongoing assistance. The company's mission is to help seniors live comfortably and with dignity in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and operate the branch independently while utilizing training and support from the corporate office.
- Develop and implement a marketing strategy to position Cornerstone as the go-to provider of in-home care services in the region.
- Build and maintain strong referral partnerships with hospitals, hospices, senior living facilities, and other relevant organizations.
- Manage recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and scheduling to ensure consistent and reliable staffing coverage, including handling on-call responsibilities.
- Conduct in-home client assessments and intakes, cultivating strong relationships to guarantee client satisfaction.
- Control the financial aspects of the office with close monitoring of budgets and profit and loss outcomes.
- Create and nurture a positive workplace culture by fostering team morale, motivation, and engagement.
