Role Summary

The Operations Coordinator will handle day-to-day scheduling and work order administration for the Operations and Maintenance function. The position involves coordinating planned and corrective maintenance across a varied portfolio, partnering with area managers and technicians to meet contractual commitments and maintain availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and update schedules for preventive and corrective maintenance across the generator fleet.
  • Oversee work orders from creation through billing and invoice completion.
  • Coordinate larger repair efforts and manage collaboration with third-party vendors to close out work.
  • Prepare quotes for work orders that exceed defined revenue thresholds and route them for internal and external approvals.
  • Partner with procurement to raise quote requests and purchase orders for materials and subcontracted work.
  • Work with accounting to make sure all work orders are billed correctly.
  • Monitor and share KPI reports with senior leadership.
  • Help improve the CMMS platform, including testing and refining new functionality.
  • Identify operational issues and work with leadership on practical solutions.
  • Keep communication flowing across teams such as engineering, procurement, accounting, and commissioning so tasks are completed and reported properly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and project management skills with the ability to prioritize work and deliver on time, within scope and budget.
  • Ability to understand business needs, gain leadership alignment, and support change initiatives while building trust and collaboration.
  • Analytical thinking, strong attention to detail, and solid business acumen.
