Role Overview
The People Analytics Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting HR functions by developing and analyzing workforce reports, metrics, and dashboards to enable data-informed decision-making. This position transforms employee lifecycle and HR data into meaningful insights that help leadership understand workforce trends and key performance indicators, while identifying opportunities for organizational improvements. The analyst collaborates across HR segments including Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, HRIS, Talent Management, Learning & Development, and Employee Relations to provide accurate and actionable reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze workforce data to identify trends and risks related to headcount, hiring, turnover, retention, and employee demographics.
- Develop and maintain recurring HR reports, scorecards, dashboards, and metrics.
- Translate HR data into actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
- Prepare reports and visualizations for leadership meetings, talent reviews, and workforce planning.
- Monitor critical people metrics to support decisions across the employee lifecycle.
- Design and build dashboards communicating complex workforce data clearly.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand and fulfill reporting requirements.
- Maintain documentation and standards for HR reporting and dashboards.
- Support Talent Acquisition analytics by tracking recruiting metrics like requisition activity and time-to-fill.
- Ensure data quality through validation, audits, and investigation of discrepancies.
- Collaborate with HR leaders and cross-functional teams to prioritize analytical efforts.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities for HR reporting processes and tools.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum two years’ experience in people analytics, HR analytics, business analysis, or related fields.
- Proficiency in creating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations based on workforce data.
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, formulas, and data validation.
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of HRIS, applicant tracking, or employee data systems.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful trends.
- Strong skills in data visualization, dashboard design, and data quality control.
- Understanding of HR metrics covering hiring, retention, turnover, engagement, and talent programs.
- Effective communication skills to present data insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred experience with platforms like Workday, UKG, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, iCIMS, or Greenhouse.
- Certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, Power BI, or Tableau are desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary ranges from $59,000 to $88,800 annually depending on experience. The position is exempt and full-time, scheduled Monday through Friday with remote work flexibility.
