About Emberos
Emberos aims to deliver predictive intelligence and clarity in a world increasingly influenced by AI. The company assists brands in understanding AI's interpretation and representation of them during discovery, highlighting emerging patterns early to provide leaders with foresight and early action capabilities. Emberos goes beyond monitoring, offering predictive intelligence tailored for an AI-driven environment, acting as a reliable source of truth as AI shapes perceptions and choices.
Role Overview
We seek a Product Manager who excels in complex technical settings and enjoys transforming challenging problems into valuable products. This position operates at the crossroads of Engineering, Customer Success, and Leadership. The Product Manager will collaborate closely with engineering teams to set priorities, guide product direction, and ensure timely delivery of the right features aligned with business goals. This role requires strategic thinking beyond project coordination, translating business opportunities and technical realities into a trustworthy narrative for clients and senior leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Own scope, timelines, and client commitments, serving as the authoritative source for progress and feasibility to clients and leadership.
- Provide precise, justifiable timelines before client commitments, distinguishing realistic estimates from overly optimistic ones.
- Deliver clear and confident responses under pressure, avoiding hedging or false promises.
- Identify potential downstream risks early to prevent escalations during timeline discussions.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure alignment between client commitments and engineering capabilities.
- Manage the full product lifecycle from discovery to launch, translating customer needs, business objectives, and technical constraints into detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with company strategy and make informed trade-off decisions when priorities conflict.
- Partner closely with engineering to implement the roadmap and coordinate with leadership on priority setting.
- Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release planning, prioritizing tasks with clear rationale understandable by engineers without micromanagement.
- Maintain a clear vision of the product's direction beyond reacting to immediate customer requests.
- Convert customer feedback and market signals into effective solutions rather than just fulfilling requests.
- Define success metrics and monitor product performance post-launch.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, and Leadership to continually enhance the platform.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in Product Management, preferably with SaaS, AI, enterprise, or developer-focused products.
- Proven track record in precise scoping and estimation with clear communication tailored to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Effective and confident communication skills, able to say "no" or "not yet" to clients or executives with clear explanations and without uncertainty.
- Experience collaborating directly with software engineering teams.
- Strong familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience drafting product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Skill in balancing customer demands, business objectives, and technical limitations while honoring commitments.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-changing startup environments with evolving priorities.
- Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Linear, or Notion.
Preferred Skills
- Scrum Master certification or hands-on experience as a Scrum Master.
- Background in building AI, machine learning, analytics, or data-driven products.
- Experience working on APIs, developer platforms, or technical products.
- Technical experience or previous software engineering background.
- Experience working in early-stage startups.
Personal Attributes
- Forward-thinking ability, anticipating steps beyond current discussions.
- Ensures commitments are realistic and reliable; precise under pressure with timelines and client expectations.
- Natural curiosity and aptitude for structuring ambiguous situations.
- Questions "why" before deciding "what", communicates effectively across diverse audiences, and takes ownership independently.
- Dedication to building products that genuinely meet customer needs and accountability to keep teams deliverable.
Why Join Emberos?
- Opportunity to define a new category at the convergence of AI and brand intelligence.
- Collaborate with a technically expert engineering team to solve innovative challenges.
- Influence product strategy and roadmaps from inception.
- Develop products that dictate how global brands respond to AI-driven futures.
- Contribute in a small team where your input has a direct and lasting effect.
