Role Overview
We are looking for a Product Owner to join our team, responsible for defining and conveying the product vision, aligning it with business strategy, and managing the product backlog prioritization. This role involves transforming business requirements into features and user stories with clear acceptance criteria. You will lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews, while being accountable for roadmap planning throughout release cycles. Acting as the main liaison between business, technology teams, and other stakeholders, you will employ Agile methodologies to deliver successful outcomes. Maintaining governance, managing risks, adhering to compliance standards, and participating in governance forums are also integral parts of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and articulate the product vision in alignment with business objectives.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on value delivery and stakeholder inputs.
- Translate requirements into detailed features and executable user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Plan and execute roadmaps across release timelines and quarterly objectives.
- Serve as the primary communication link between business units, technology, and stakeholders.
- Implement Agile methodologies including sprint planning, refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure compliance with governance, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
Experience and Skills
- Over five years’ experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in technology-focused environments.
- Demonstrated success in delivering digital products and leading transformation projects across sectors such as financial services and eCommerce.
- Proven ability to operate within complex, global, multi-stakeholder environments involving distributed teams.
- Experienced across full product lifecycle management — from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization.
- Background in roles like Business Analyst is advantageous.
- Strong aptitude for defining and executing product strategy and roadmaps tied to business goals.
- Expertise in backlog management, creating actionable user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.
- Experienced in delivering complex digital solutions including API integrations, data transformations, and automation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum and SAFe with hands-on participation in key ceremonies.
- Skillful in establishing and tracking KPIs to evaluate product success.
- Proficient in stakeholder engagement, influencing, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Experienced in facilitating workshops for requirements gathering and resolving business challenges.
- Strong leadership capabilities, including mentoring and motivating cross-functional Agile teams.
- Capable of managing dependencies, risks, and timelines in intricate delivery contexts.
- Solid technical understanding relating to APIs, data integration, digital platforms, and solution design.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Competence with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Agile delivery platforms; familiarity with SQL and process mapping tools is a plus.

Davy places a strong emphasis on employee wellbeing, offering extensive health and wellness programs, flexible working arrangements, flexible benefits allowance, and professional development opportunities. Psychological safety and mental health are priorities, with access to an Employee Assistance Programme and mental health first aid. The environment promotes inclusivity, diversity, and belonging, supporting a hybrid workplace model.
