Role Summary
This position is a hands-on, high-ownership program management role focused on taking learning experiences from concept to launch. You will coordinate work across Marketing, Content, Product, and Production teams to keep initiatives moving smoothly through development, production, and go-to-market execution.
The job suits someone who can create structure in fast-changing environments, manage several priorities at once, and proactively surface risks before they affect delivery. A key part of the role is improving how teams work by refining processes, increasing visibility, and using AI tools and automation to reduce manual effort and make operations more scalable.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end program delivery across one or more product areas, from development through launch.
- Create and maintain integrated project plans across Content, Marketing, Product, Production, and Learning teams.
- Manage detailed timelines covering development, production, post-production, and launch execution.
- Work with stakeholders across functions to spot risks, support decisions, and maintain progress on multiple active projects.
- Coordinate release of course content, marketing assets, and related product experiences to support successful launches.
- Assist with specialized workstreams such as learning design, platform ingestion, and non-video content production.
- Collaborate with Legal on talent agreements, licensing, intellectual property, NDAs, and release processes, escalating issues when needed.
- Review current workflows and improve cross-functional communication, efficiency, and scalability.
- Identify ways to apply AI tools and automation to save time, improve visibility, and speed up decision-making.
- Build and document repeatable processes and best practices that can support continued organizational growth.
Additional Marketing Focus
The role description also includes a marketing strategy and campaign component. In this portion of the role, you would help lead integrated marketing campaigns for MasterClass launches and cultural moments, from strategy and positioning through execution and reporting.
- Develop go-to-market plans across owned, earned, paid, social, product, and talent/instructor channels.
- Write clear creative and strategy briefs that support compelling, insight-led campaign work.
- Partner with Creative, Content, Talent, PR, Product Marketing, Social, Performance Marketing, and Operations teams to align priorities and deliver high-impact launches.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with instructors and their teams to support alignment, co-marketing, and launch execution.
- Use audience insights, campaign data, testing, and experimentation to improve future strategy.
- Support on-set campaign activity and production environments when needed.
- Help advance campaign development through AI-enabled tools, experimentation, and operating-model improvements.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in program management, project management, production operations, content operations, or marketing operations.
- Demonstrated success running complex initiatives that involve many teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to create alignment across Content, Marketing, Product, and other partners while influencing without formal authority.
- Strong operating discipline, including a history of finding process improvements and implementing scalable solutions.
- Comfort working through ambiguity, shifting priorities, and several simultaneous projects.
- Experience using AI tools in everyday work to improve efficiency, organization, and execution.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information for stakeholders at all levels.
- Working knowledge of project management and collaboration platforms such as Asana, Airtable, or similar tools.
- Preferred background in content production, digital marketing, or go-to-market work within media, education, or technology settings.
Additional Marketing Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in integrated marketing, content marketing, brand marketing, entertainment marketing, or consumer campaign strategy, leading complex cross-functional campaigns from planning through execution.
- Proven ability to create integrated go-to-market campaigns that produce measurable business and audience results across multiple channels.
- Strong strategic thinking and storytelling ability, including writing positioning frameworks, campaign narratives, and creative briefs.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, including influence across creative, marketing, product, talent, and executive groups.
- Direct experience working with talent, creators, instructors, or external partners in fast-moving campaign or production environments.
- Strong awareness of culture, audience behavior, and consumer trends, with the ability to identify culturally relevant storytelling opportunities.
- Curiosity about emerging technologies, including AI-enabled marketing workflows and experimentation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, organization, and project management capabilities, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
