About Pure Renewables Commercial
Pure Renewables Commercial is a recognized leader in the heat and decarbonisation industry, established since 2021 and expanding its presence in Ireland. We specialize in providing infrastructure-scale heat pump solutions designed to help large consumers—such as commercial buildings and industrial processes—reduce their carbon emissions. Our approach integrates products from three top heat pump manufacturers, resulting in highly regarded customer outcomes.
Role Overview
As a Project Engineer within our Ireland team, you will play a critical role in supporting project development and sales engineering through technical design and assessment of commercial and industrial heat pump projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Create conceptual layouts using CAD or similar software, optimizing designs to maximize project value.
- Analyze data to determine project resource needs and forecast expected outcomes.
- Develop high-level energy models and estimate annual energy production.
- Conduct site assessments before project sales to evaluate suitability and engage with stakeholders.
- Perform post-sale site visits to verify execution aligns with the approved design.
- Assist in preparing sales proposals for projects.
- Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering, and Operations teams throughout project lifecycle and commercial operations.
- Maintain integrity of Quality Management System (QMS) during planned changes.
- Understand occupational health and safety (OH&S) requirements and environmental reporting impacts on projects.
Qualifications and Skills
- BSc degree in Engineering or a related field with a minimum 2:1 classification.
- Demonstrated experience in large-scale construction projects, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong analytical ability to independently synthesize information and form conclusions.
- Willingness to learn and adapt within a dynamic industry and team environment.

Additional Details
- Annual salary ranging from 55000 to 75000 euros.
- Location based in Drogheda, County Louth with onsite presence and hybrid work options.
- Standard working hours are 37.5 hours per week with flexible start times.
- Reports directly to the Country Manager Ireland.
- Travel regularly across Ireland, approximately four annual trips to the UK, and occasional travel in Europe.
