Project Manager

Overview

Encora is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Singapore office. The role involves managing projects in the banking and consulting domain, with a focus on technology and operations enablement for business demands. The candidate will assume complete accountability for project delivery, ensuring quality, scope, and budget adherence.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, handling escalations, expectation management, conflicts, and scope adjustments effectively.
• Act as a trusted advisor for new business demands involving technology or operational solutions.
• Lead and coordinate teams to foster a collaborative work environment.
• Develop, execute, and oversee comprehensive project plans including module and strategic program deliveries.
• Manage project scope changes, assessing impacts on timelines and costs, and ensure approval from the Project Steering Committee.
• Prepare investment approval documents and secure project approvals from the investment committee.
• Organize and facilitate Project Steering Committee and working-level meetings for governance purposes.
• Identify, track, and manage project-level risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution or escalation.
• Coordinate implementation plans with inputs from various stakeholders such as technology, business, operations, and regulators.
• Ensure adherence to IT governance standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Continuously monitor, measure, and report project progress to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Extensive domain expertise in risk management and regulatory frameworks including Common Reporting Standard (CRS), FATCA, Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), and Human Resources (HR).
• Capable of working independently with strong ownership over project delivery.
• Comprehensive understanding of banking technology and operational processes spanning multiple departments.
• Strong familiarity with change management and project management methodologies.
• Strategic thinker with excellent communication, influencing, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
• High resilience and ability to perform under ambiguity and pressure.
• Experienced in project scoping and evaluation with considerations for scalability, maintainability, cost, operations, and technology risk.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance, or related fields.
• At least 12 years of relevant experience in banking and/or consulting sectors.
