Reconciliation Executive

About the Role

As a Reconciliation Executive, you will manage and verify daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations across various financial touchpoints such as credit card collections, Amazon seller settlements, payment gateways including B-now, Paytm, and Pine Labs, as well as bank statements. Your core responsibility is to detect and correct discrepancies, missing entries, and unmatched transactions to ensure financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic reconciliations of credit collections, Amazon platform settlements, payment gateways, and bank records.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve unmatched or missing transaction entries.
• Enter journal entries for receipts, settlements, fees, charges, commissions, refunds, and reversals.
• Maintain and update general ledger accounts accurately and timely.
• Account for statutory deductions like TDS and GST wherever applicable.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external entities such as banks and payment gateways to resolve issues.
• Compile and submit reconciliation reports and management information system (MIS) statements for review by leadership.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance preferred (B.Com, M.Com, or CA Intermediate level).
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in accounts reconciliation or similar finance roles.
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles, journal entry processing, and bank reconciliation techniques.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as APX and Tally.
• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and foundational formulas.
• Knowledge of ecommerce platforms (notably Amazon) and payment gateway systems is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical capabilities with high attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.

Preferred Experience
