Key Responsibilities
- Transform raw footage from creators and interview recordings into engaging short-form reels and podcast clips that captivate target viewers.
- Monitor current trends across creator communities to develop novel reel concepts that align with the unique brands and personalities of each model.
- Ensure all content complies with platform standards including proper framing, audio integrity, and age-appropriate material.
- Partner with the creative team to refine edits, incorporating feedback to maximize viral potential.
Required Qualifications
- Proven expertise in editing short-form clips with a portfolio featuring published Instagram or TikTok reels demonstrating high engagement and polished aesthetics. Flexibility and ability to learn are valued alongside experience.
- Strong command of English, essential for narrative clarity and communication; Spanish literacy is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Advanced skills in CapCut required, with additional experience in DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro considered a plus. Use of macOS is mandatory to uphold professional production quality.
- Acumen in spotting viral moments and crafting refined edits featuring compelling hooks, clean captioning, and intentional text overlay.
- Exhibits a strong sense of creative ownership, aesthetic judgment, and receptiveness to iterative feedback.
Performance Milestones
- By 30 days: Achieve daily editing capacity of 20–25 pieces with over 80% initial approval rate; display understanding of brand identity and platform trends; contribute at least one new format idea weekly.
- By 60 days: Enhance editing speed while sustaining quality; reach 85%+ first draft approval; propose two or more trending format ideas each week.
- By 90 days: Secure 90%+ approval on first drafts demonstrating high skill in both reels and podcast production; develop an original format utilized five or more times across creators; show measurable positive effect on content engagement.
