Role Overview

As a Regional Program Coordinator in Philadelphia, you will play a key role in implementing a community wellness initiative aimed at empowering teens to make healthier choices. You will assist the Regional Program Manager in training and supervising near-peer college mentors from local universities, helping them deliver HealthCorps’ curriculum and events at middle and high schools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture relationships with university partners, community organizations, school and district staff to ensure smooth delivery of health programming across 15–25 schools.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, onboarding, and overseeing near-peer mentors who lead in-school programs.
  • Conduct research on local health disparities and evaluate program impact through reporting and tracking.
  • Oversee logistics such as mentor scheduling, supply procurement, and event coordination to support program activities throughout the school year.
  • Deliver HealthCorps lessons and coordinate educational events directly within schools and community settings when needed.
  • Support marketing and awareness efforts by contributing to social media content and stakeholder communications to highlight student achievements.
  • Promote HealthCorps’ mission by maintaining a personal commitment to health and wellness and fostering accessible health initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills
