Release Manager - Salesforce DevOps

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce DevOps Senior Developer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable DevOps processes for Salesforce environments. The role focuses on deployment automation, release management, and continual improvement across Salesforce development, enhancements, and Application Management Services (AMS) projects ensuring dependable and efficient deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop Salesforce DevOps CI/CD pipelines for efficient automation.
• Implement automated deployment strategies spanning Development, QA, UAT, and Production stages.
• Manage source code control practices and branching methods leveraging Git.
• Oversee comprehensive release planning, execution, and if needed, rollback strategies.
• Partner with Architects, Developers, QA, and Business teams to optimize release workflows.
• Conduct rigorous code reviews enforcing Salesforce development standards.
• Strategize environment management, metadata deployment, and configuration migration.
• Diagnose and resolve deployment challenges and performance issues.
• Ensure adherence to security policies, audits, and governance standards.
• Document technical processes, deployment instructions, and release communications thoroughly.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers and DevOps team members.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce development with deep expertise in DevOps automation and release management.
• Familiarity working within Agile Scrum frameworks.
• Experience handling multiple Salesforce orgs simultaneously.

Technical Skills

• Comprehensive Salesforce platform knowledge including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud.
• Proficient with Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce Integrations.
• Expertise in Salesforce DX (SFDX) and DevOps CI/CD tooling.
• Skilled in Git-based version control systems - GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.
• Strong grasp of version control and branching strategies, automation integration, pipeline design, deployment automation, release management, metadata management, automated validation, and static code analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification essential; II certification preferred.
• Salesforce Administrator certification.
• Copado Fundamentals and DevOps certifications are preferred.
• Experience supporting enterprise-level Salesforce implementations and AMS models.
