Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Safety Steward position based in Rajpura involves promoting a strong safety culture within the workplace. The steward will actively monitor work areas, detect potential hazards, and ensure full compliance with company safety policies and relevant statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out regular safety inspections across work areas to identify and mitigate risks.
• Deliver and support safety training programs to enhance team awareness and compliance.
• Respond promptly to safety-related concerns and collaborate with operations and management to address identified risks.
• Maintain accurate documentation of safety incidents, observations, and corrective measures taken.
• Advise team members and visitors on safe work practices and emergency protocols.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma in engineering, preferably supplemented by a safety diploma.
• Strong communication skills to clearly articulate safety guidelines and foster cross-team collaboration.
• Understanding of food and beverage safety norms, including hygiene and contamination prevention standards.
• Experience in conducting or supporting safety training sessions.
• Familiarity with workplace safety regulations and best practices relevant to industrial or manufacturing sectors.
• Meticulous attention to detail for performing structured safety inspections and maintaining precise records.
• Ability to work on-site at Rajpura and adapt to dynamic operational settings.
• Previous experience in agribusiness, manufacturing, or food processing environments is beneficial.
