Security Technician

Overview

Join Honeywell as a Security Technician based in Darwin, Northern Territory. You will work directly with clients at the Darwin Correctional facility, providing expertise in electronic security systems including access control, CCTV, and alarms.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with customers to identify their electronic security needs and propose tailored solutions.
• Focus on Electronic Access Control Systems, CCTV cameras, and alarm system configurations.
• Collaborate with the Field Service Supervisor to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
• Offer in-depth product knowledge to aid customers in making informed purchase decisions.
• Perform servicing and maintenance on Honeywell and third-party security equipment; training will be provided.
• Configure hardware and software components of security systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in electronic security devices.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience as a Security Technician or Electrician is required.
• Ability to comprehend and explain electronic security systems concepts to clients; training is available.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer-centric service.
• Self-driven and capable of working autonomously without supervision.
• Valid Elevated Work Platform (EWP) license.
• Willingness to be on-call and participate in a rotating work roster.
